2012 JEM Outreach to Cuba

To the glory of God, 469 precious souls trusted Christ as their Savior in Cuba! For several months we had been organizing all that is necessary to go to this Communist Country to preach. We printed 30-Thousand flyers with a Gospel Tract on the back and brought in 54 Cuban Missionaries from around the country to assist us in handing out the tracts. As the Missionaries went out they witnessed to many on the streets and won them to the Lord. We then prepared to hold three nights of meetings where we preached on unusual topics that drew in the people. Hundreds attended, and each night we saw many walk forward to trust Christ.

Right after the Outreach we returned to Havana to go to a pastor´s meeting where we had the opportunity to speak to about 150 pastors and give them a brochure with the title, "Win your City to Christ." We want to get as many pastors involved in reaching their Cities for Christ and help them see Cuba reached with the Gospel while there is still time and the Cuban revival lasts. The brochure had a form for those interested, and we had 80 pastors that filled out the form asking for our help on developing this same kind of Outreach in their cities. Some of the pastors where we have held Outreaches before came to express their gratitude and give us a report of the blessing their churches had received after the events. In fact, in Bejucal, the home church of JEM missionary Roland Muñiz, has now more than 200 members for the first time in the church's history. They are seeing many new visitors every month. This was the first church that JEM conducted an Outreach in 2010.
